We are pleased to inform you that the indoor cricket nets for our colts section should again begin earlier this year. Unlike England in Australia, we want to prepare for the season effectively and with an exciting summer ahead for our junior teams we want to ensure we are ready for a league clean sweep! The location this year will hopefully be Seale-Hayne sports hall on the Ashburton Road, where there is more space to work on skills and get useful practice time.
We will start on Friday 6th Jan for our U10 and older age groups. This is therefore only for the players who were training with Mitch on Fridays last year with the hard ball.
After half term, from 24th Feb the session will be opened to all colts players including the younger age groups who we will work with on refreshing the basic cricket skills from last season.
Session will run from 6-7 on a Friday evening and continue to 7th April following which we will endeavor to move back to the club for outdoor cricket.
The cost of the hall will be covered by paying £1 per week per player, collected each week.
Directions can be found at the following link http://www.discoverhannahs.org/seale-hayne/visiting/
Look forward to seeing you all again – feel free to bring any friends or relatives !
