We are a thriving club with opportunities for players of all abilities to join us for the 2018 season who aim to play competitive adult and junior cricket at the highest level we can achieve consistent with remaining financially solvent and retaining our values as a family oriented, sociable and friendly club.

Our Teams

We have a 1st Team who play in the Devon Cricket League – ‘A’ Division, a 2nd Team who play in the Devon Cricket League – ‘E’ Division West as well as a Sunday Team who play competitive social cricket. For up-to-date scores and results, go to Devon Cricket

We also have Colts teams who play in the South Devon Youth Cricket League.

There are also opportunities for umpires, scorers, tea ladies etc.


Club Goals

  1. A minimum of ‘A’ Division status for both 1st and 2nd 11’s.
  2. A playing squad of a minimum of 30 players, none of whom are paid for playing matches, supported by a selection committee who meet throughout the year.
  3. A minimum of four successful colts’ teams.
  4. Excellent links between the colts and senior teams with a colt’s representative on the committee.
  5. A high level of coaching, particularly for colts, provided by suitably qualified coaches with club players encouraged to take up coaching qualifications.
  6. A new Scorebox and Umpires room built.
  7. The feasibility of investing in a fundamental improvement of the playing surface, in order to attract new players, assessed.
  8. Regular social functions both in and out of season.
  9. Greater player involvement in the day to day running of the Club with one senior player who is neither a captain ora vice captain of a Saturday league side, being on the committee.
  10. Greater village involvement in the Club.
  11. Financially sound with adequate reserves.
  12. ClubMark status maintained.
  13. All senior matches to be reported in the Mid Devon Advertiser
